How to Unlock

The endgame boss of Floor 2. Forge the Divine Crown (three Angel Shards at the laboratory hub) and place it on the throne platform at the top of the Heavenly Courtyard. The fight is a hard gear check — fully upgraded chips strongly recommended.

Divine Crown

How to Get the Summon Item: Forge from three Angel Shards — the rare drop (about one in six) from enemies in Floor 2. Expect roughly twenty kills per shard. The laboratory hub does the forge for free.

Boss Mechanics

Curse Floor Phases

The arena floor becomes cursed on a fixed 90-second cycle, leaving only three safe platforms standing. The Guardian ignores the curse (it heals in it); you do not. Platform positions rotate each cycle — memorize the rotation or die to greed.

The Divine Slam

The Guardian slam sends a shockwave along the floor in a cross pattern. Jumping the wave is possible but tight; standing on any elevated platform trivializes it. The slam always follows a curse cycle by five seconds — be on a platform, not in a puddle.

Divine Attunement

The Guardian is ice-attuned: Fire damage is doubled and Ice damage heals it. Players who bring ice-imbued chips to this fight actively undo their own progress — check your loadout at the door.

The Guardian heals about 1% per second while standing in the curse. If your damage output cannot out-race that, the fight is a gear check you are failing — leave, upgrade your chips, return.

Step-by-Step Strategy

Preparation

Fully upgraded attack chips within the 256KB budget, ten healing items, and a Fire-coated chip loadout. This is a five-to-eight-minute fight with two healing checkpoints — everything you bring gets used.

The Core Loop

  • Fight on safe platforms only; treat curse floor as a hard floor timer.
  • When the flood warning flashes, sprint to the announced platform immediately.
  • Jump or elevate over the divine slam wave; punish the four-second post-slam recovery.
  • Second phase (below 40%): the curse cycle halves to 45 seconds — bank damage in bursts, not greed.

After the Kill

The Divine Seal is a 100% drop and the current final item of the 100% completion track. Future content updates may check for it — keep it in your inventory.

The Seal does not unlock anything yet. Keep it — future updates may require it.

Rewards

  • Divine Seal (100% completion trophy)
